Overview
TXW8301 follows the Wi-Fi HaLow™ standard with low power and long distance, introduced by WiFi Alliance and IEEE. The chip runs on frequencies below 1GHz, expanding the range of connection compared to Wi-Fi usage. Wi-Fi HaLow™ provides longer distance and lower power connection with up to 8191 connections. Wi-Fi HaLow™ meets the wide needs of the monitoring field and the Internet of Things (IoT). It supports wide applications in smart home, industry, agriculture, smart building and smart city environment. TXW8301, designed by Zhuhai Huge-IC based on IEEE 802.11ah protocol, is an industry-leading SOC chip. And the AH module of TX-AH-Rx00Pxx series is also designed on the basis of TXW8301. This module provides longer distance (the open distance can reach more than 1200 meters) and better wall-penetrating capability than regular Wi-Fi, and supports multi-node, low power consumption, relay, roaming and other functions.
